Open Call for the Creation of the First Drag Performers' Union

At Glam Slam 3, Space Manifesto invited all drag performers in Greece to create a union so as to fight for their rights addressing topics such as payments and insurance coverage. The drag performance included spoken word parts with queer marxist references and it ended up to a lip sync performance of "Ti Nea Psipsina? (What's New Pusssycat?)" by Lena Platonos, an 80's avant-pop futuristic anthem which addresses capitalism's fall by communism. At the end of it, Space revealed Karl Marx's portrait out of the suitcase they use for their drag shows.

On November 2019, the manifesto got published at the independent magazine "Εντροπία (Entropia)" in Cyprus.

On December 2018, Space Manifesto uploaded the manifesto for the union on their Facebook page, and from that day, they communicate with other drag performers so as to create a union in the near future.

On January 2019, the text of the performance got published at the independent magazine "πολιτισμικό έιτζ (politismiko age)" in Greece.

On February 2019, Space presented the performance again at SchwuZ Club in Berlin at "Hot Topic: Tsolidarity Without Borders in Greece. ".
